JEI International Associationは、国際社会で活躍するために必要な知識と技能の習得することができる教育環境を提供することを目的としている。学生海外留学の経験を通し国際人としてのセンスと異文化に対する理解を深めることができ、これは吉備国際大学の目標として掲げているものである。JEI International Associationネットワークは、多様な文化を有する学術的に優れた大学によって形成されており、加盟大学がそれぞれの国際化を図り、質の高い教育に取り組むことで、学生の能力を向上させることができる。また、JEI International Association はそれを十分に支援できるだけの資源と能力を有している。
多様性を特徴とする現代の過度期の世界に対処するためには、国際交流がJEI International Associationの学術的な戦略において重要な要素となっている。多様性を理解することが、能動的学習と相互尊重の基盤となっており、国際経験とは、グローバル・コミュニティにおいて必要な技能を教えるだけはなく、基本的な価値観として互いを尊重することの意義を教えることでもある。こうした価値観は、教育・研究の目標と密接に関係している。JEI International Associationの使命とは、国際的学術共同体を形成することであり、またメンバー全員が共通の幸福のために教育における経験や見識を貢献することができる。
JEI International Education aims to provide a dynamic environment that will assist students develop knowledge and skills necessary in making pre-eminent careers in the international community. The opportunity to study abroad supports the overall goals of Kibi International University to nurture cosmopolitan spirit and openness too. The JEI network consists of several universities representing a great variety of cultures and academic excellence. Since the participating universities are fully committed to the goals of internationalization and quality education, the network will help to pool their resources and educational capabilities to help the students to have truly international experiences and nurture their potential.
International exchanges are an essential element in the academic strategy of JEI for coping with the contemporary transient world that is characterized by plurality. The understanding plurality serves as the basis for readiness for active learning and for mutual respect. The cosmopolitan experience is not only teaching people the essential skills for the global community, but also teaching that people share a sense of mutual respect as basic values. These values are particularly close to the core goals of academic teaching and research, which flourish in the environment of open influences and new ideas. The ultimate mission of JEI is to create the cosmopolitan academic community where all the members contribute to the educational experiences and insights towards common happiness.
JEI International Associationとは、異なる国家間におけるキャンパス間ネットワークであり、様々な分野における交流の促進を図ることを目的として２０１１年に設立された制度でございます。２０１１年８月、タイ王国バンコクにおいて開催された学校法人順正学園の海外協定校代表者会議の参加校が設立メンバーであり、現在７カ国１４校によって構成されておりますが、会議に参加出来なかった他の協定校にも参加を呼びかけていきたいと考えております。
JEI International Associationの目指すところは、加盟している大学の学生が希望する大学に１学期或いは２学期の期間留学することができ、留学期間中に取得した単位が所属先の大学だけでなく留学先の大学からも認定されること、また、相互の学生による仕事体験プログラム等です。また、加盟大学の教員間における共同研究も奨励しており、似通ったテーマを研究している海外の研究者を探し出して、共同研究を持ちかけることができる環境を提供しております。
今後も、JEI International Association加盟校で相互に密接な連携を取り、学生及び教職員の学術交流を通じて教育・研究の質的向上を図りながら、国際社会で活躍できる人材の養成に取り組んで参ります。国際的に活躍したいと思っている人々に集まっていただけることを期待しております。
JEI International Association is an international network of universities and institutions of higher learning located in different countries. This educational facility was established in August 2011 with the aim of promoting international exchanges in various fields. The founding members were Representatives from schools attending “Academic Summit among International Sister Schools of the Junsei Educational Institution” held in Bangkok, Thailand in August 2011. At present, it consists of fourteen (14) schools from seven (7) countries. Nevertheless, we also made a call for the participation of our international sister schools which could not attend Academic Summit.
The objective of JEI International Association is that students of participating schools are allowed to cross enroll in the receiving schools they chose to for a semester or two, and that academic credits students earned are duly accredited not only from the sending school, but also from the sending schools as well. The other objective is to implement work experience programs. In addition to students’ exchanges, JEI International Association encourages joint researches with faculty of other schools participation in the Association, and offers an environment in which faculty are able to match up with scholars on similar expertise or research subject.
We at JEI International Association continue to foster mutual cooperation, and develop students who play active roles in the international community by improving the quality of education and research through exchanges of students and scholars. We warmly welcome students who want to make pre-eminent careers or vocation in the international community.
